Sports Awards 2024
On Wednesday 26th July the PE Department invited hosted an awards evening to celebrate the amazing successes and achievements of all the young people that have represent the school in a range of sports.
The evening involved awards such as “Coaches Player”, Sports Personality and Team of the Year. It was fantastic to see so many pupils that are involved in extra-curricular sport.
During the evening, the pupils were inspired in their athletic journey by St Peter’s Alumni and retired England and Gloucester Rugby player Charlie Sharples. His words of passion and dedication resonated with the audience as he shared his experiences of elite sport and how being part of the GreenArmy supported his dreams. Three of our year 7 Rugby Team conducted a professional interview with him to gain additional insight.
We are really looking forward to building on the successes of the 2023-2024 sporting season and are excited for challenges to come.
