Performance & Wellbeing

Every Wednesday and Friday afternoon students at St Peter’s sixth form are directed to take part in our Performance and Wellbeing programme as part of their programme of study – a package designed to make sure that students have something other than just their academic accomplishments to talk about when they apply for that next step in their career.

This can take whatever form students like it to. For some, they play sport, engage in a variety of wellbeing activities or pursue difficult challenges such as DofE or EPQ. Research shows that extra and super curricular activities support and enhance aspiration and achievement across the board in school.

Current Performance & Wellbeing offer:

  • Team/Recreational Sport including Football, Rugby, Hockey, Netball, Basketball
  • Wellbeing activities including Yoga and Hill walking clubs
  • Duke of Edinburgh Bronze to Gold Award
  • EPQ (Extended Project Qualification)
