Students complete Run to Bethlehem

Continuing on from the recent success of the 'Marathon Kids' win. The students, with encouragement from the sports department, decided to keep on running and 'Run to Bethlehem' in the last four weeks of this term. It's 3,131 miles to Bethlehem from Gloucester and collectively they achieved the distance successfully yesterday.

Students have been completing 300m laps of the astroturf in order to clock up the mileage, covering roughly 20km per student.

Remarkably, the school had already won the national Marathon Kids competition, by clocking up the most miles of any competing school in the country! In doing so they won £1000 worth of Nike sports equipment for the school.
