Lock-down Jazz Festival - 9/5/20

St Peter’s Jazz Band has played on the Free Stage at Cheltenham Jazz Festival every year for over a decade.  As we were so sad that the 2020 Festival had to be cancelled, we decided to make a virtual recording instead! We are so proud of the finished product and were absolutely delighted when our video made its way onto the Cheltenham Jazz Festival@Home livestream event that ran on YouTube over the Festival weekend.

Congratulations to all the students and staff that contributed to the huge success of this video!

Year 7 Singers - Badgers and Hedgehogs - 12/4/20

Some of our Year 7 Singers who were due to perform in our Choral Society concert (which of course had to be cancelled due to COVID-19) have recorded video & audio tracks from their individual homes and this is the result, by kind permission of the composer, Andrew Carter.

Carols by Candlelight - 13/12/19

Check out a few audio recordings of the concert here: School Choir: Carols by Candlelight 2019

Peter Pan - 22/10/19

I really enjoyed my time in the school musical, Peter Pan, for multiple reasons.  My favourite part was being the title role as I have never experienced anything like that before.  I enjoyed performing with my friends but also the opportunity to make new friends and my most nerve-racking moment was being able to get the whole audience involved. I can’t wait to participate in future school productions!

Junior Concert - 13/6/18

The Junior Concert was an amazing event to perform in. It was an opportunity for any student from Year 7, 8 or 9 to perform a solo on their musical instrument, or as part of a larger ensemble. Before I began to play I was very nervous, but when I got up on stage and played my first note, I felt very relaxed and enjoyed every second of it! It was great to see all of the musical talent that we have at St Peter's, showcased in one evening of entertainment. I can't wait until next year!
