Following on from the success of the Onatti Theatre Company’s visit to us in November to perform a play in Spanish to our Year 9 students, they are returning on 20th March to perform Les Garcons to our Year 9 students who study French.  The aim of this is to inspire students to continue with languages in Key Stage 4, or quite simply to enjoy the show!

Every 2 years a trip is organised for Key Stage 3 students during October half term.

In October 2020 we are hoping to take 50 students to Malaga, Spain. A range of activities are organised, including a city tour, a visit to the large indoor market and a visit to a local school where students get the opportunity to interact with local Spanish students.

In October 2019 we visited Normandy in France, and undertook a cross-curricular visit to many sites of historical importance

Ski Trip – The Head of Department also runs an annual trip to Austria in the February half term.  This trip is open to all students, regardless of age or ability.  Students get to experience a true alpine experience, staying in a small village, with the opportunity to practice a new language (German) if they wish.  For more information click here.
