Higher Education information event

 

You are invited to a free event hosted by Gloucestershire College for parents and carers of students in years 12 and 13. The event is being delivered by the Gloucestershire Aspiration Programme (GAP), a collaboration of the six higher education providers in Gloucestershire.

 

The event will provide impartial advice and explore:

 

  • What is higher education
  • The benefits of higher education
  • The financial costs and help available
  • How you can support your young person with their future decisions
  • Applying for higher education

 

Alongside the workshops will be opportunities to ask questions to a variety of local higher education providers as well as staff from the GAP team. 

 

Date:                     Wednesday 14th March 2018

Time:                    18:00 – 20:00. A welcome talk including the benefits of higher education will be delivered at 18:15 and followed by a selection of workshops on different higher education topics. There will also be a marketplace with stands from a variety of local higher education providers.

Venue:                 Gloucestershire College, Gloucester Campus, Llanthony Road, GL2 5JQ

Parking:               Parking is available on-site and charged at £1.00
